On The Way

Well we actually are doing it.

After a hellacious couple of days getting the house packed we are all u-hauled up and just about ready to hit the road for New Mexico for real.

Not withougt a few casualities along the way though.

When one is calculating collateral damage how does one say which disaster is worse, and indeed is there such a scale for measuring things.

In my opinion though the worst part was that, even after scrupulously studying the situation, I got the new Beemer crossed up inside the truck and smashed up the new windshield. Not to mention bashing my leg and my arm in too.

Then after putting in a couple of 12 hour days in triple digit Bakersfield heat we finally finished up and were on the last possible legs of exhaustion.

Then, just when I thought we we going to get away clean the absentee landlord showed up and started blaming us for all the ills of the neighborhood.
